A protest by schoolchildren calling themselves Gen-Alpha has drawn attention in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, where students and villagers marched to the collectorate demanding construction of a badly damaged 1.5-km road in Chandoopur gram panchayat. The protesters said the muddy road is disrupting education and making travel and medical access difficult.
