Wholesale Price Index (WPI) inflation increased to 9.92% in August, up from 9.78% month-on-month. Food inflation rose from 6.65% to 7.05%, while fuel and power inflation climbed sharply from 20.05% to 22.93%. Manufactured products inflation also increased to 8.37%, whereas primary articles WPI declined from 8.52% to 7.76%. Read more
